I was born in Karvina, a small mining town in the north of Czech Republic on the 24th June 1979. Czech Republic was still a communist country the, so we didn't have much, but I had have two amazing parents that gave me everything they could. (Soon after my little sister Olga was born.) I spent much of my younger years with my little sister Olga.

Even though there was little western influences, i was always interested in fashion. I used to make dresses, and sow outfits for me and my friends. I was always too shy to try modeling, but then one day my best friend entered me in a 'Talent Search' for a Czech model Agency. My 1st modeling shoot with the local passport photographer! One of the outfits I designed (it was the height of fashion in Czech Republic then!!!) Then in 1996 I found myself winning Elite Look of the year competition 1996 of the Czech Republic. It was an amazing time for me. I never expected to win and as they announced my name, I started crying like a baby, with mascara running all down face.

As I got more serious about modeling, I would go to jobs, and cas-tings in Prague most evenings after school. This was a 4 hours train journey each way! My first tear sheet, Czech Cosmo As soon as I finished my schooling, I started modeling full time. It was great to travel and see new places, and after a while I moved to Paris. 1st test in Paris with Cristoph Mimon. I was lucky and soon got a few big campaigns for the likes of Max Factor, Lancaster & La Perla, whilst at the same time doing runway shows for Valentino and Armani.
